About Me

Julia and I cur­rently live in Wald­bronn, at the north tip of the Black For­est. I spend most of my days (except week­ends) at the Karl­sruhe Insti­tute of Tech­nol­ogy, work­ing as a post-doc in the Insti­tute for Pho­ton­ics and Quan­tum Elec­tron­ics, in a group that mostly deals with OFDM trans­mis­sion. Almost all our projects cur­rently deal with OFDM appli­ca­tion in access net­works. Before com­ing to Karl­sruhe, I got my PhD at the Tech­ni­cal Uni­ver­sity of Berlin on the topic of cross-polarization mod­u­la­tion.
When I’m not work­ing, I’m either pho­tograph­ing or sort­ing / post-processing pho­tos, and if there’s time I’ll play a bit on the old com­puter. How­ever, there seems to be less and less time for that lately...
