I’m not catholic, so I wouldn’t know the dress code for the acolytes at a wedding – yet somehow I doubt that it includes Vans sneakers…
Saw this in the parish garden in which the official wedding shots were taken just before the civil ceremony, three days before the religious ceremony. I cannot even guess how long this bike has been "parked" there…
I stole away from the post-wedding party for a couple of minutes, because I wanted to get a picture of a bale of straw like everyone else on flickr seems to have at the end of summer. However, you can’t find this stuff in Potsdam, Würzburg, or any other city, and I don’t get out into the country much. So when I saw these lying around, I went. And shot.
I wasn’t gone from the place more than about 100 meters before a tractor came and carried it (and the others nearby) away – lucky timing, but I would’ve liked the sun to be yet a little closer to the horizon…
