Nerd Rage

Damals im Feb­ruar war’s, glaube ich. Da durfte ich für zwei Tage nach Pisa zu einem Meet­ing über eins der ver­schiede­nen Pro­jekte, die bei uns an der Uni so laufen. Gast­ge­ber war die Scuola Supe­ri­ore Sant’Anna, der Lehrstuhl von Enrico Forestieri, dem Meis­ter der Fehler­wahrschein­lichkeiten in der Optik. Vom Forestieri hab’ ich zwar nix gese­hen, aber dafür war ich ein biss­chen in der recht über­sichtlichen Alt­stadt von Pisa unter­wegs. Viel mehr als den Schiefen Turm, auf dem Galilei rumge­turnt ist, und dem Dom daneben gibt es für Touris­ten aber nicht zu sehen. Das führt dann dazu, dass die Let­zteren neben dem Turm aus Bussen quellen, sich für eine Stunde “Pisa anschauen,” und dann in die näch­ste Stadt gekarrt wer­den…

I tried to get some bokeh-action going here and had to use quite a long focal, so this is only the upper half. Inter­est­ingly, I saw pretty much the same pic­ture (maybe less bokeh-y) in a Pisa travel guide – I guess I’m always tak­ing only the same bor­ing pic­tures that every­one else is.
