The obser­vant reader might ask him­self (or her­self), “Shouldn’t Julia be sit­ting on the bench?” And he (or she) would be right. I have to admit, I couldn’t get Julia to sit down on another bench (or any bench, actu­ally) that day. It’s a pity – nice bench – but there’s a good rea­son, too.

This shot was taken while on the same stroll through the win­tery Park Sanssouci as this one, so it’s a bit older, yeah. There’s been no snow around here for a cou­ple of weeks now. It’s not even really cold any­more. I don’t miss the cold, but the snow was fun while it was there.

We went to the Museum of Nat­ural His­tory last week­end, which is close to Berlin’s Cen­tral Sta­tion in Mitte. Accord­ing to their web­page it’s the largest Ger­man museum of nat­ural his­tory and among the top 5 world­wide. I didn’t find it to be that big, really. But they do seem to have the world’s largest
