Adventures in JavaScript: Jogging Elevation

Anoth­er ele­va­tion / climb cal­cu­lat­ing script like Route Ele­va­tion, this one includes some mod­i­fi­ca­tions request­ed by my wife. Instead of pre­scrib­ing start and fin­ish loca­tions – which is dif­fi­cult if you’re run­ning in a loop – you can sim­ply set the start­ing point and sub­se­quent­ly define way­points. Unlike GMaps Pedome­ter, the route cal­cu­lat­ed between the way­points can then be dragged to cor­re­spond to the run route instead of what Google thinks would be the fastest route.
