Inves­ti­ga­tion of Non­lin­ear DPSK Fad­ing due to Cross-Polar­iza­tion Mod­u­la­tion

Abstract: We exam­ine non­lin­ear fad­ing in dif­fer­en­tial PSK receivers due to cross-phase mod­u­la­tion and deter­mine its rel­e­vance in the pres­ence of cross-phase mod­u­la­tion. We find that XPolM does not con­tribute to the non­lin­ear penal­ty.
